Threw this breakfast together this morning. Mixed fresh basil paste into scrambled eggs. Topped it with salsa, avocado, sour cream, and garnished with fresh parsley and sriracha. I am a sucker for mixing tangy, creamy sour cream with anything spicy and the herbal, buttery flavor of the eggs was a […]

Last night I whipped up a sriracha mayo (equal parts of each) for some tacos and I really enjoyed it. I had some leftover today so I put it over an egg and it was really yummy. I hope it’s obvious by now but I love eggs 🙂
Made some pretty darn delicious sardine tacos tonight for dinner with garlic, onions, green chilies, mini sweet peppers, and mushrooms, then topped with a sauce equal parts sriracha and mayo (thanks @foodheaven for the sauce idea!), and finally some fresh grated parm on top.

I had a Wüsthof chef’s knife for the longest time, which was great, but it started to get to the point where my accusharp sharpener wouldn’t get it sharp and it needed professional sharpening. But, being lazy, I instead decided to buy a new chef’s knife. I had heard of Victorinox […]
This was an amazing meal. I hadn’t cooked eggplant or zucchini for a long time but they both turned out so good. The eggplant was perfectly tender with a nice balance of sweetness from the caramelized onions. The key to roasting eggplant is to cook it for a LONG time […]
I can’t wait to taste the results of our newly planted herb garden! This basil plant is looking delicious…
